Dear parents and Faculty of Sacred Heart School,
We will be introducing a pre-pay method for ordering the hot lunch program. We hope that this letter will help with any concerns you have in how the hot lunch program works and how to fill out the orer form.
How the Program Works for Parents:
- Menus will be sent home.
- Parents shouls make selections.
- Cost of meals $3.25 extra entree’s are available for $1.25 only when the main meal is purchased.
- Drinks and extra drinks may be purchased for $.60
- Meals consist of Entree, side, dessert and beverage.
- Send checks payable to: Bethlehem Catholic Dining Services and return to Sacred Heart School by the due date.
Please make your check payable to Bethlehem Catholic Dining Services. All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 fee. Do not staple or paperclip checks to order form. Put your order form and check or cash in an envelope and return to your homeroom teacher. Do not put any other papers in this envelope. The September menu may be mailed to Bethlehem Catholic.
Make sure your child’s full name and homeroom ar on the order form, check and the envelope. Please make sure your order is handed in by the due date on the order form. No late orders will be accepted.
Make sure to mark down the days your child will receive lunch. If you have forgotten to do this, the homeroom teacher will have a list by the 1st day of the new lunch menu.
A drink is included in every lunch you order. Check drink only box only if you wish to order a 2nd drink or if you have not ordered a lunch and want a drink for your child’s packed lunch.
To Calculate your order:
- Multiply # of complete lunches by $3.25
- Multiply # of extra entrees by $1.25
- Multiply # of drink orders by $.60
- Add totals for amt. owed.
Ex.
- 10 lunches @ $3.25 = $32.50
- 3 extra entrees @ $1.25 = $3.75
- 10 drink only @.60 = $6.00
- Total due = $42.25
Credits for missed lunches will be given if a child is absent. And for all snow days, the amount of the credit will be at the top section of the following month’s menu.
